Vintage specimen from the late 1990s measured and weighed (sans skewer) during a wheel rebuild. Bike is a Rocky Mountain Vertex t.o. that was raced by Canadian Chrissy Redden. Finish is smooth brushed silver. Clear sticker says "Equipped With Wilderness Trail Bikes Grease Guard Patented and Patents Pending". (no other markings.) 41.0mm from locknut face to freehub body shoulder face. Freehub body measures 34.9mm. -Karl

7/30/19 -- Note that there appears to be a similar model, not as highly regarded, known as the Momentum. This bike had a Momentum (stickered) front hub, and what I'm guessing is the New Paradigm (not labelled other than the diamond-shaped Grease Guard sticker). The photo is the actual specimen I measured. Any advice on how to positively identify the pictured hub as either New Paradigm or Momentum would be appreciated. -Karl
