Sized to fit forks used on folding bikes and intended for the higher RPM of 16" to 20" wheels. (fewer magnets and poles to compensate for higher RPM and allow lighter weight and less rotational resistance than a SON28 would have in this usage)
The XS is spaced 74mm to fit the narrower forks of many folding bikes. Note that there are a few different versions of axle interface, but they all have the same critical wheelbuilding dimensions. Variations include:
"XS Bro" -- Fits Brompton forks. It has an 8mm axle that protrudes 6mm past each locknut.
"XS DaTi" -- Fits Dahon and Bike Friday Tikit forks. It has a 9mm axle that protrudes 4mm past each locknut.
There is also an "XS100" version which uses the same XS hub shell, but features a standard 100mm axle for use on normal forks. This is listed separately in the database (HubID 185).

7/27/16 -- Dims verified during a build. Brompton laces these hubs 28h 1x on their ISO 349 rims. Stock spoke length for Brompton double-wall rim laced 28h 1x is 133mm. -Karl
