8/1/2024 -- Used specimen measured during wheel rebuild on a Surly ECR. Hub shell simply says "Salsa" with no other markings. Main hub shell rides on two 6903 cartridge bearings. The axle has a shoulder inboard of the freehub body, but no shoulders or spacer between the main hub bearings. The axle slides through from the drive side, then two threaded parts thread on and jam against one another like a cup and cone. Careful attention is required not to crush the bearings together. Freehub body is a three-pawl style that rides on a pair of cartridge bearings and is retained on the right side of the axle by a left-hand-threaded endcap. Measured and weighed by Karl; photo is from ebay and perfectly matches the hub in question. -Karl
